Obtaining a Grant

How to Apply

Thank you for your interest in Brave Beginnings (formerly the Will Rogers Institute Neonatal Equipment Grant Program). Our mission is to fund hospitals across the United States in need of new neonatal equipment. To date, Brave Beginnings has provided over $8.1 million to 175 medical facilities and we are looking forward to adding more facilities this year. If you represent a hospital and would like to apply for a grant, please know that your hospital must:

  • Be a nonprofit hospital in the United States (excluding territories)
  • Have a neonatal intensive care unit
  • Wait one year after receiving a Brave Beginnings grant to reapply (i.e. cannot have received a Brave Beginnings or Will Rogers Institute grant in the previous year)
  • Demonstrate a need for the neonatal equipment requested
  • Submit a request and have a specific purpose for the grant
